We are a coalition of organizations planning to bring our demands to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 2024!
The March on the DNC will be a march for Palestine!
We are a coalition of organizations who fight for the rights and liberation of oppressed people and against the exploitation of workers. Beginning on August 19th 2024, we will march on the Democratic National Convention in Chicago to bring the people's agenda to within sight and sound of the Democratic Party leadership.
We recognize the Democratic Party as a tool of billionaires and corporations.
Their actions, such as financing genocide in Palestine and war in multiple countries; continuing the mass incarceration of Black and brown people; deporting millions of immigrants; and neglecting campaign promises made to the oppressed communities who represent their voting base, show that the Democratic Party only serves the agenda of the rich and powerful. Recent gains in the rights of oppressed people have been made by grassroots organizations in spite of a lack of support and often outright opposition from Democratic Party leaders.
History has proven what Frederick Douglass once said: “power concedes nothing without a demand.”
We are calling on other grassroots organizations that are fighting for exploited and oppressed people to unite with us as we take the demands of the people to the Democratic Party in August 2024.

Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) has rejected applications from the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, AntiWar Committee Chicago, and Students for a Democratic Society to march within sight and sound of the DNC this summer. Urge Chicago’s Mayor to take a stand & ensure political leaders hear the voices of the people they claim to represent!

Yesterday we had over 75 organizations and over 450 attendees to plan, unite, and prepare for the historic march on the DNC! International Women’s Day March

This International Women’s Day, we united to raise our demands on the federal government. From defending LGBTQ & Reproductive Rights, to ending the occupation of Palestine, mass incarceration, U.S. intervention in the Philippines, the criminalization of immigrants, exploitation and discrimination in the workplace, the DNC has failed to deliver.
Time after time, the problems at the root of women’s and gender-based oppression go unaddressed. And from our unions to our struggles for liberation, women and their LGBTQ siblings frequently lead the charge against the powers that be.

The Coalition to March on the DNC stands in unconditional solidarity with the Palestinian resistance, and we demand an end to the use of US tax dollars to fund Apartheid Israel's occupation and genocide in Palestine.

The Coalition to March on the DNC is organizing a protest at the Democratic National Convention being held in Chicago on August 19th - 22nd, 2024.
We are also organizing actions leading up to the Democratic National Convention to build unity and momentum.
OUR DEMANDS
The March on the DNC will be a march for Palestine.
Our main demand will be:
Stand with Palestine! End U.S. Aid to Israel
We will also be bringing together the demands of the people’s movements to the door of the Democratic party:
Money for Jobs, School, Healthcare, Housing, and Environment, Not for War!
Immigrant Rights and Legalization for All Undocumented Workers!
Defend LGBTQ & Reproductive Rights!
Defend the right to unionize and strike!
Stop police crimes! Community control of the police now!
Justice, Peace, and Equality!
